Natalie Gapp is currently working toward her PhD in computational finance at University College London (UCL). Her research focuses on building machine learning tools for operational risk. She previously received an MSc in the same field from UCL where her dissertation focused on building machine learning models for financial news analysis.
She has an undergraduate degree in International Political Economy and Latin American Studies from Fordham University where she graduated summa cum laude.
Prior to studying at UCL, Natalie spent time as a tutor in the United States, where she taught high school special education courses through the New York City Teaching Fellows programme, and in Guatemala where she taught English.
