David has over 30 years banking experience including senior roles in Risk, Operations and Front Office at a GSIFI Bank. He has designed, led and delivered strategically important projects including Risk Frameworks, Risk Appetite, Governance, Enterprise Risk, Operational Risk, Operational Resilience and Operations Management.
David has a PhD in Chemistry and in-depth practical experience from both a first and second line perspective gained through a wide range of positions held including Managing Director of Operations, Deputy CRO, Deputy General Manager of London Branch and a Senior Manager in the Dealing Room.
David is a member of the Executive Committee of the Institute of Operational Risk in England & Wales and is now collaborating with Chapelle Consulting to deliver projects and training.
Using his extensive experience, David adds value to clients through a balanced, collaborative, logical and proactive approach to lead teams, bring together different views and provide clarity to deliver practical solutions.
