Using his vast experience in IT and cyber risk management, Petros ensures Chapelle's systems are continuously monitored and safeguarded against incidents. Petros leads the deployment, maintenance and continuous monitoring of Vulnerability Management and Devices Management solutions within Chapelle.
His main achievements include: definition of Chapelle's security standards and configurations, provision of cyber risk reviews as well as response, mitigation and post-mortem assessment to any potential cyber security incidents.
Prior to joining Chapelle, he graduated top of the graduate scheme at a global leading Cyber Security consultancy and achieved third place in the internal penetration testing challenge network of that company (out of 1,400 security consultants worldwide). He continued working for a variety of companies, varying from startups to Global corporations.
Since 2019, he has been working as a Senior Security engineer for a multinational company with a direct line to the former UK CISO, leading the global Purple team initiative. He specialises in both offensive as well as defensive cyber security, and is passionate about applying his technical expertise to enhance the company’s cyber resilience.
He holds an MSc in Web Intelligence from King's College London (UK) and a BSc in Information Technology from the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki (Greece).
